Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") set forth the conditions for the use of the services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by Yominder (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). All users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") must comply with these Terms when using the Service.

Article 1 (Applicability)

These Terms shall apply to all relationships between the User and the App regarding the use of the Service.

Article 2 (Prohibited Actions)

In using the Service, Users shall not engage in the following actions:

• Actions that violate laws or public order and morals
• Actions related to criminal behavior
• Actions that infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights included in the Service
• Actions that destroy or interfere with the functions of the App's servers or network
• Commercial use of information obtained through the Service
• Actions that may interfere with the operation of the Service
• Unauthorized access or attempts to do so
• Collecting or accumulating personal information about other Users
• Using the Service for fraudulent purposes
• Actions that cause disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to other Users or third parties
• Impersonating other Users
• Advertising, promotion, solicitation, or business activities on the Service not authorized by the App
• Providing benefits directly or indirectly to anti-social forces in relation to the Service
• Other actions that the App deems inappropriate

Article 3 (Suspension of the Service, etc.)

The App may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of the Service without prior notice if it determines that any of the following reasons exist:

• When performing maintenance or updating of the computer system related to the Service
• When it becomes difficult to provide the Service due to force majeure such as earthquake, lightning, fire, power outage, or natural disaster
• When computers or communication lines stop due to an accident
• Other cases where the App determines that the provision of the Service is difficult

The App shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by Users or third parties due to the suspension or interruption of the Service.

Article 4 (Restriction of Use and Deletion of Registration)

If a User violates any of the provisions of these Terms, the App may restrict the use of all or part of the Service without prior notice.

Article 5 (Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability)

The App does not warrant, either expressly or impliedly, that the Service is free from factual or legal defects (including defects related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors or bugs, infringement of rights, etc.).

The App shall not be liable for any damage caused to Users arising from the Service.

Article 6 (Changes to Service Content, etc.)

The App may change the content of the Service or discontinue the provision of the Service without notice to Users, and shall not be liable for any damage caused to Users as a result.

Article 7 (Changes to Terms of Use)

The App may change these Terms at any time without notice to Users if it deems it necessary. If a User begins using the Service after a change to these Terms, the User shall be deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms.

Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the App's headquarters.

In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and the English version of these Terms, the Japanese version shall prevail.

Article 9 (Subscription and EULA)

For Users who purchase auto-renewable subscriptions in the iOS app, the Standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA) shall apply. Please refer to the following link for the Standard EULA: Apple Standard Terms of Use (EULA).

Article 10 (Custom Voice Feature)

The Service may provide a feature (the "Custom Voice Feature") that allows Users on a paid plan to specify a voice ID provided by a third-party voice synthesis service (Fish Audio) for use in text-to-speech playback.

Users represent and warrant that they lawfully hold the right to use any voice ID they specify through the Custom Voice Feature. The App does not review or verify the content of voice IDs specified by Users in advance, and shall bear no responsibility for their legality or any infringement of third-party rights.

Using the Custom Voice Feature to imitate or use another person's voice without authorization constitutes a prohibited action under Article 2 (Prohibited Actions). If the App becomes aware of such use, it may restrict the User's use of the Service without prior notice.
